Artist Statement: "Our complex lives are made up of tremendous contrasts within our shrinking world. Many significant events over the last ten to fifteen years or so, have shaken up the collective unconscious. Confusion, anger, hate, starvation, depravity, acts of unthinkable violence contrasted with the spiritual and material wealth that many of us enjoy here and in other parts of the world, compelled me to perform this evening. CrossFire is my response to these contrasts, particularly for women throughout our world, but for humankind as well."
